Hello all friends, welcome to my channel. Today I want to get in the kitchen again I want to make Butter Pan. These are our vegetable selections for today. Actually there’s lot of vegetables that can be use depending on what you prefer. The vegetables we have today are in English it is called watercress. Enoki mushrooms and seafood mushrooms. These are actually banana peppers which are usually yellow but they ripen so it turned red. Here’s the banana peppers when it’s yellow. These are zucchini similar to a cucumber but more weighted and firmer. When grill it is not as watery as cucumbers. This is sliced garlic and jalapenos to eat pair with it. Kind of like Korean BBQ. If you like other types of vegetables feel free to use them. All to your liking. Now let’s check out our protein selection. This is beef that I asked the butcher to thinly sliced. I want to take some and marinate with this sauce. Korean BBQ sauce. I get 2 types of beef one marinate and the other plain. The marinade is a bit sweet for me there some fruit used in the marinade. I like to add some more seasoning such as fish sauce and black pepper. So it’s all up to you, add what ever flavors you prefer. Or don’t add anything at all just use it out of the jar. You can also add some onions and green onions. As for me, this is good enough. These are thinly sliced by a machine but if you don’t separate them they will stick together in a big lump. So when you pick it up, it’s one big clump. This is pork belly. Freeze it partially to make it easier to thinly slice. These are shrimp, and these are Oun Naly most favorite which are baby octopus. The beef I showed earlier. Now I am going ot prepare the dipping sauce. This is the most important ingredient the sukiyaki sauce. It is made from soya bean. You can actually just use it straight out of the jar and no need to add any other seasonings. For me I like to add more flavors to it. So I have some ingredients like green onions, shallots, and garlic and also coconut soda for more flavor. Also some sugar and chicken powder. Add some oil, I’ve already shared a video recipe for this dipping sauce but it has been awhile. I am sharing it again There’s always adjustments every time I make this since it’s eaten with different groups and different quantities made. Saute the garlic until brown and fragrant then add the shallots. Just use some of the green onions but not all of it. Pour in the soya bean sauce. The star to this dish is the dipping sauce. The vegetables are plain. The meat and seafood can sometime be marinate and sometimes not. Next add the coco soda. The amount of coco soda is preference because some prefer a thicker sauce and other prefer a thinly sauce. This sauce does thicken up a little bit when cool. Some sauce left at the bottom on the bottle so I use coco soda to rinse it out. Chicken powder, a little bit of sugar, and that’s it. I am going to simmer it to thicken it a bit. My dipping sauce after it’s been simmer now I can turn off the heat and add the remainder green onions. Durian fruit we bought at the market today. That fruit weighs 5 pounds almost $3 per pound so it cost almost $15 for this fruit. The husband is prying it open. It’s frozen not fresh but we defrost it for awhile now to make it easier to open. Like ice cream. The husband said it’s good so it’s good. He is from Kampot province who sniff durians knows which one is ripen and which is still young which has dense meat and which does not. Check out his style of opening What our child in the back. What are you laughing at Eli? 2 more? That’s it? Here’s another one. The skin is soft so it’s defrosted. This is the last pulp. The last piece. That’s a lot. This is my sister’s house for those who followed my vlogs you probably know and remember. I come to this house often because they have get together events often like when during the High School graduation party and when my parent had their anniversary party it was also done here. We also came and ate stripped bassed here. Today we came to eat but for now I want to give you an update on some of the fruit trees that they planted in the backyard. Last time I vlog some has not fruited yet and some I don’t know what tree it was because it was during the cold season and there were branches but no leaves. Taking the time while the food is not ready to show you all. OK, right in front of me what looks like a lime it’s a type of citrus tree and it’s a lemon tree. It cannot yet but pick for use. Lots of lemon. Right when lemons are expensive. Those red fruits are pomegranates but these are on the other side of the fence but it spilled over to her side. She was able to pick a few to taste. She said that’s a tart variety. Check out her sad dragon fruit. It has not fruited yet. It’s been growing like that. OK, let’s check out this side. Right in front of me is also a pomegranate tree. Do you remember the vlog I did where I tasted my pomegranate fruit? The nursery told me that it’s this variety. That’s why I said my fruit is overly ripe because it’s red as this variety does not really get too red. It’s a pale color like this but it’s ripe. She harvest some inside and these are still left on the tree. See? When it’s not ready, it’s greenish like that. When it ripens, it’s a pale pinkish. The seeds are not as bright either. Soft seeds. As for this, it’s an avocado tree. Her tree is big. My tree is still small. They said my tree needs another variety to pollinate. Next year I will get a scion and graft to my tree maybe that will pollinate it. Let me show you the fruit. Right here. Nice and big. Here’s another one. This is her persimmon tree. The fruit size is big. Check it out. She have been harvesting them to eat. She left them on the tree so she can pick and eat them fresh. Really big. Back there, this tree and that tree are jujube trees. She harvested them all she said the bird eat them if left there. This one is a guava tree. She said her tree is big but not much fruit. I saw one right here. This one fruit is so bumpy. What variety is this guava? It looks hard. This small tree is a pomelo tree. No fruit yet. Right here is another persimmon tree. Look at it. Really big. This is another citrus tree. This one is an Asian pear I don’t see any fruits perhaps the owner harvest them all. Over on this side is the banana tree namwah variety. It’s really big. It’s growing nicely because they planted near the water it likes the humidity from the water. They already cut some bananas but looks like still some left that has yet to ripen, like this one. Not sure if it will ripen because we are now entering cold season. She did harvest a lot of them. This banana tree has been growing for 3 years. Now let’s go check out the little plants that she started. This is her mango tree. It was planted from seed that they brought back from Florida it looks better than mine. Mine still small. Like I said, it’s near the water and when it’s hot it creates a nice weather for the mango. Also other plants which some I don’t know because they are still small. Check out this bamboo tree wait and see it grow so tall not yet over not yet more, more, see? This is the clumping bamboo not the spreading bamboo. Come take a closer look check out the marijuana bong. Look at it. It’s big. Have to use a saw to cut it, can’t use a knife. This is lotus plant, Thai eggplant, chili peppers, holy basil, Thai basil, kaffir lime, Cambodian mint, fish herb, and water hyacinth, and this is june plum. OK, those are just some plants an fruit trees she has more because they have a big yard so where there’s soil and a spot, they plant stuff. But that’s it for now. Naly are you a big sister? Yeah. Naly has company so the house is not that quiet. Those 2 makes more noise than Eli. Ticklish. Now take a picture. OK. See? Moments ago it was nice and clean now it looks like a boiling rice they bring them all out again. That’s why I said, the request for a house tour video will be difficult. Can barely finish the vlog and they bring them out again. Now Eli is awake from his nap. He slept a good 4 hours. He only nap once a day. Show what you got. Mommy, monkey. OK. Mommy monkey. Let Mommy see. OK, Mommy monkey. Daddy, chicken. Pa, chicken. This is her Dad. Who else? Dog. Eli is a dog. Yeah, Eli is a dog. Eli is the year of the dog. How about the other one? Naly is a horsey. That’s me. That’s you? Be careful, watch out for your brother. Eli look, that’s you. Do you look like that? He wants to take it with him. Here Eli, play with yourself there. The other day my sister and I both made butter pan. I went grocery shopping on the weekend and wanted to eat it with the husband so we made it. Then I chatted with my sister she invited us to eat so we went. As you can see each family has different ways to making it. Some like it with this vegetables and others like it differently. Eli had a good nap, look at his face. So round. What are you biting dear? What is that? Let me see. No no. Eli wants to climb. You can climb? Oh. The house is so messy. Thank you all for watching my vlogs see you in the next episodes OK?
