Kin: Contemplations (High School for Art & Business)

(“Dream Culture” by Kevin MacLeod) (contemplative piano and synth music) (reflective string music) (people speaking in foreign language) – [Man] Mom, what is your
biggest accomplishment? – [Mom] Hm, my biggest
accomplishment is not done yet. It’s gonna be when I’m gonna raise all of my kids to be good people. Then I’m gonna proud. They’re gonna finish all the schools, which I mean colleges
or university, I hope. And I’m gonna be, then, this
gonna be my accomplishment. – [Man] Well, don’t worry. I’m already on the
right track, am I right? Okay, so. – [Jocelyn] Hi, my name is Jocelyn. And if you didn’t know,
I moved from Florida a year ago on March 10th, 2015. I thought moving to a new
place would make me happy, and it did, but I never expected
any challenges to arise. One year. One year ago, my mom and I had to find a new school, a new house, and a new job. Leaving Florida and even before moving, I went through a lot of depression. My mom never likes to talk about it, but I find that the more you express your feelings, the better you’ll feel. This here is my dad. I miss him very much because
he still lives in Florida. It’s been a few months since I’ve seen him because he only came to
help my mom and I move and help my aunt do paperwork. (woman speaking in foreign language) (“Dream Culture” by Kevin MacLeod) (contemplative piano and synth music)
