  • Wikipedia says this is a dead language, i hope it's wrong it sounds so pretty and it would be sad to lose any kind of language.

  • In a way, it sounds like an American-Indian language to me. I read in somewhere that these people and Ainu people are related. I am just thinking (dreaming) that some of the ancestors of these people may have moved to the North East Asia and from there to the Alaska etc.

  • Actually, the idea that Austronesian languages originated in Taiwan was put forward by one individual, and since then, researchers believe the Austronesian languages came from Sundaland, the giant landmass that was Indonesia before sea levels rose. They base this on numerous factors, but it does make a lot more sense than the timeframe provided by the Taiwan-origin hypothesis.

  • Sounds like Austronesian (Filipino,Indonesian, Malay), Poleynesian (Maori, Hawaiian, Tuvalu), Mandarin, Japanese all mixed together
