Wills and Probate- Kinghorn Heritage Law Group

many people mistakenly believe that if
they have a will their family will not have to go through
the probate process when they die well the truth is with or without a will
in Arizona if you own more than a hundred thousand
dollars worth of real estate or more than seventy five thousand dollars of
other assets you will have to go through the probate
process. a will doesn’t avoid probate it is simply an instruction sheet to the
probate judge telling the judge how you want your estate handled after you die in
a will you can designate the person responsible for handling your estate and
you can designate who you want to be the beneficiaries of your estate but with or
without a will if you were over the probate limits your family will have to
go through the probate process fortunately if you’ve properly created a
living trust you can avoid the probate process entirely
